What is a stillstone?
A StillStone is a small, weighted stone designed to be held in moments of pause. It offers quiet grounding when life feels heavy and words aren’t enough. Each stone is intentionally shaped, weighted, and finished to feel steady in the hand.
Is every stillstone the same?
No. Each StillStone is physically unique. Subtle variations in shape, texture, and finish mean every stone carries its own fingerprint — much like the people who hold them. No two are ever identical.
What do you mean by “fingerprint”?
A fingerprint refers to the natural, individual characteristics of each stone. It’s the small differences you can feel rather than see — the way it sits in the hand, the balance of its weight, the surface you return to with your thumb. It’s a reminder that uniqueness doesn’t need to be loud to matter.
What is the digital id?
Inside each StillStone is a discreet digital identity, accessed using NFC (near-field communication). When scanned with a smartphone, it connects you to a private StillStone page — a calm space with words of reassurance, reflection, or guidance. The digital side is optional. The stone works perfectly on its own.
What is nfc?
NFC stands for near-field communication. It’s the same technology used for contactless payments and travel cards. There is no app to download. Simply hold your phone near the stone to access its digital page.
Do i have to use the digital id?
Not at all. Many people never scan their stone. Others return to the digital space during particularly difficult moments. StillStone is designed to support you in whatever way feels right — physically, digitally, or both.
Does the stone collect or track any personal data?
No. StillStone does not track you, store personal data, or collect location information. The digital ID is designed to be: Private, Passive, Non-intrusive. Your interaction remains yours alone.
Can anyone else access my stone’s digital page?
Only someone with physical access to the stone can scan it. There are no public listings, accounts, or sharing features unless you choose to share the experience yourself.
