The story of Stillstone
StillStone was born quietly, not from a business plan, but from moments that stayed with me long after the doors closed. As a funeral director, I walk alongside people in some of the heaviest moments of their lives – grief, shock, love, regret, exhaustion. I’ve learned that when words fail, people often reach for something solid.
Something to hold
Like many people in caring roles, I carried far more than I spoke about. The weight of responsibility. The stories you take home with you. The quiet pressure to always be steady for everyone else. There were days when my own mental health felt fragile—when the world felt loud, fast, and overwhelming—and I didn’t need advice or answers. I just needed something grounding. Something real.
